Kevin Howard A.K.A Naners

I met Naners day one, mile 0, right at the terminus.  We rolled up in Franky's van looking like a messy party just got over with.  We hiked on and off with Naners during our time on trail and he's a friend I wish I had gotten to spend more time with out there.  I always was excited when I got a snapchat or a message from him along the way. Naners worked as a physical therapist before the PCT but found a renewed love of being outside while hiking.  He now lives in the Lake Tahoe area working seasonally as a ski patroller and medic.

The Trail Name: I think the header photo to this page tells the whole story...  After hiking with Naners for a few days right at the beginning of the journey, Leapfrog and I wanted to leave him with a gift.  I think a name befitting his glorious trademark shirt was a fitting present.
